Route and travel program:
Dates: November 7 – 19, 2025.
Day 1, 07.11:
Arrival in Kathmandu. Blessing of the beginning of the journey.
Meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel. In the evening - visit to the main stupa of Kathmandu for meditation and receiving the first blessings. Joint dinner, meeting with the group and an introductory briefing about the program and local traditions.
Day 2, 08.11:
Kathmandu - the Abode of Monkeys and Sleeping Vishnu.
Visit to the sacred complex of Swayambhunath ("Monkey Temple"), towering over the Kathmandu Valley. Then we go to the Budanilkanta Temple to see the majestic statue of the reclining Vishnu.
Day 3, 09.11:
Time travel to Bhaktapur.
Excursion to Bhaktapur - an open-air museum city. We will walk along ancient streets, explore palaces and temples made of brick and carved wood, feeling the unique spirit of the Newari culture.
Day 4, 10.11:
Flight to the Mysterious Kingdom of Mustang.
Transfer to the airport and an unforgettable flight to Mustang, opening views of the greatest Himalayan ranges. Check-in at the lodge. First acquaintance with Mustang: visiting the Kagbeni monastery and the mysterious cave monastery of Thini.
Days 5-6, 11-12.11:
Hiking to the places of power of Mustang.
A two-day immersion in the nature and energy of the region. We will hike to the Guru Rinpoche cave for deep meditation and go on a 6-hour trek to high-mountain lakes and viewing plateaus with a panorama of the Dhaulagiri glacier. Picnics against the backdrop of breathtaking landscapes.
Day 7, 11/13:
Introduction to the Buddhist Tradition.
We will spend the morning visiting a local Buddhist school. We will interact with students, observe their daily life and practices to gain a deeper understanding of the living tradition of this region.
Day 8, 11/14:
Pilgrimage to Muktinath.
We will travel by jeep to one of the main shrines of Muktinath. This is a place of liberation, where we will make a circular trek to the monasteries, perform the ritual of ablution in 108 sacred springs and find time for personal prayer and meditation.
Days 9-10, 11/15-16:
Days of Practice and Integration.
These days will be dedicated to deep practice, meditation and relaxation in the special atmosphere of Mustang under the guidance of Atma Prem Giri. The program will be adjusted to the needs of the group.
Day 11, 11/17:
Return to Kathmandu.
Flight back to Kathmandu. Free day for souvenir shopping, personal time or additional excursions (optional).
Day 12, 11/18:
Farewell day in the Kathmandu Valley.
A final excursion around the Kathmandu area (subject to confirmation), which will allow us to harmoniously complete our journey.
Day 13, 11/19:
Flight home.
Transfer to the airport and flight home with a baggage of new experiences and blessings of the Himalayas.
